The QTBIPOC Group is a peer support group for Queer, Trans*, Black, Indigenous, People of Color ages 14-25. This group is a safe community space dedicated to exploring, supporting, and educating ourselves and others on the intersectionality of being LGBTQ+ and of Color. This group is English speaking.
This group meets weekly on Tuesdays from 6-7:30pm on Zoom.

Fall Equinox and DIY Planner Building Event on Tuesday, September 24th from 6 - 7 pm (co-hosted with CORA)
The Fall Equinox is among us! Join us at this FREE event to celebrate the start of fall by decorating planners and setting intentions for the remainder of the year. This event will take place at the CORA office in the Carelle room: 2211 Palm Avenue, San Mateo, CA 94403. All materials will be provided but folks are welcome to bring any decorative materials to add to their planner and/or to share with the group.

Part 2: Virtual Legal Name and Gender Change Workshop
Part 2: Virtual Legal Name and Gender Change Workshop
What is the name and gender marker workshop? We will guide you through each step and help you prepare the necessary paperwork to legally change your name and gender markers. This workshop is FREE and open to all ages, parents and under 18 welcome.
We're excited to offer our workshops twice a month! Workshops are now separated into two parts.
Part 1: We'll provide an overview of the process and cover the important first step of filing for your court order. In this session we'll answer your questions, prepare your court paperwork together, and walk you through how to file. Part 1 Workshops are held the 2nd Wednesdays of the month from 6-7:30pm.
Part 2: In this second session, we'll review steps to take after receiving your approved court order; how to update your name/gender markers on your IDs, Birth Certificates, Social Security, Passports, and more. Part 2 Workshops are held the 4th Wednesdays of the month from 6-7:30pm.
If the workshop times don't work for your schedule, please let us know. We can arrange for individual appointments or consultations if needed.

This group is a safe and confidential space to share experiences and built positive relationship in a welcoming environment and will include specific trans femme/trans/masc breakout spaces. Join us for an afternoon of good food, amazing community, games, dancing, and more. Bring your pals, your boos & your fam! Is therer a game that you want to play? Bring that too! The more the merrier. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
Join us on Saturday, September 28 from 2-6 at San Mateo Central Park (50 East 5th Avenue, San Mateo). Food will be ready around 4PM. This is a free, family friendly, and sober event.
