Resource Roadmap

Welcome to the Resource Roadmap!

Our Resource Roadmap collection is intended to support and empower Transgender, Gender-Diverse, and Non-binary individuals in navigating various resources in San Mateo County and beyond. This resource was created by the community, for the community. Available for download and printing, each brochure focuses on a central topic relating to: Housing, Physical/Mental Health, Employment, Legal Advocacy, and the Essentials (Food, Shelter & Wellness).

We know how challenging it can be to get the support you need, so in sharing these tips and tricks we hope to give you the tools to thrive. If you need further assistance, please reach out. We are here to support you.

If you have any questions, please contact our Health Equity Coordinator, Alex Golding (he/him) at [email protected] or give us a call at 650-591-0133.

Thank you to Gabriela Silva (they/them) for their graphic design and Emily Gueco (she/her) for their support in the creation of these brochures!

Print Versions Available Upon Request:

If you are interested in ordering print versions of these brochures for yourself or your organization, please submit a request form through StarVista: https://star-vista.org/community-resources.

You can request print resources like these for tabling events, schools, community centers, and more. Additional resources include StarVista brochures, StarVista Crisis Intervention and Suicide Prevention brochures and Crisis Line wallet cards, and San Mateo County Pride Center brochures.

Printing Instructions:

If printing on your own, it is recommended to print double-sided, flipped on short-edge. Depending on your printer, you may need to adjust scaling to fit (consider testing with one copy before printing multiple). Please also note the “Navigating Work” and “Legal Advocacy” brochures print best on 8.5” x 14” size paper as they contain more information; however, both are suitable to print on standard 8.5 x 11” sizes if needed – the text may just appear smaller.

This project is supported by Kaiser Permanente Northern California Community Benefit Programs.
