Pride Month is celebrated in June to commemorate the Stonewall riots, which occurred at the end of June 1969 and to recognize the impact LGBTQ+ people have had in the world. Pride month is the positive stance against discrimination and violence toward the LGBTQ+ community, to promote self-affirmation, dignity, equality rights, increase their visibility as a social group, build community, and celebrate sexual diversity and gender variance.

Gay Pride Filoli House & Gardens
Filoli Pride is coming out and we want you to come out with us. Show off your Pride in our all-inclusive, beautiful and safe space. Join us for a month of clothing swaps for Pride Month to exchange and find new clothes for LGBTQ+ community members who may need access to free clothing. Pride Family Day
Join us at the San Mateo County Fair for their first annual Pride Family Day! Family PRIDE Day will kick-off with a ribbon cutting ceremony outside gate 5 (enter from Saratoga Drive), just before the noon official opening. The special day will culminate with a free concert at 7:30 p.m. featuring Queen Nation, a tribute to the music of Queen.
