Community Feedback Month

June 5, 2019

The month of June is the Pride Center’s annual Community Feedback Month and we want to hear from you! How has the Pride Center supported you? What services, programs, and events have you enjoyed? What can we do differently? There are two main ways to participate:

  1. Complete our 5-minute feedback survey
  2. Attend one of our in-person focus groups

On June 12 and June 20 we will be hosting a series of special focus groups for you and fellow community members to share your experiences. These focus groups are open to anyone who has interacted with the Pride Center. Also, you will get FREE PIZZA & GIFT CARDS for attending! Your participation will be kept anonymous, and space is quite limited, so be sure to sign up!

Please RSVP by contacting Alex Golding at alex.golding@sanmateopride.org or 650-465-6795.

Wednesday, June 12

4:00-5:15pm – Older & Active Adults (ages 50 & older)

5:30-7:00pm – Adults (ages 18 & older)

Thursday, June 20

4:30-6:00pm – Youth (ages 25 & younger)

6:15-7:45pm – Clinical Participants* (ages 18 & older)

(*Please note that anyone who has received mental health services and/or case management is highly encouraged to attend Thursday’s clinical participant session; however, if this does not work for your schedule, you are welcome to attend another group that works better for you.)

Not sure which focus group to attend? Contact Alex for more information.

Also, don’t forget to complete our survey and please share with your friends! Thank you so much for helping us grow!â¤ï¸: http://www.tinyurl.com/PrideCenter2019.

Last year alone, we served 15,544 individuals across our county.

With your support, we can protect these life-saving services and ensure LGBTQ+ residents continue to have a safe place to turn.
