What is the name and gender marker workshop? We will guide you through each step and help you prepare the necessary paperwork to legally change your name and gender markers. This workshop is FREE and open to all ages, parents and under 18 welcome.We're excited to offer our workshops twice a month! Workshops are now separated into two parts.Part 1: We'll provide an overview of the process and cover the important first step of filing for your court order. In this session we'll answer your questions, prepare your court paperwork together, and walk you through how to file. Part 1 Workshops are held the 2nd Wednesdays of the month from 6-7:30pm.Part 2: In this second session, we'll review steps to take after receiving your approved court order; how to update your name/gender markers on your IDs, Birth Certificates, Social Security, Passports, and more. Part 2 Workshops are held the 4th Wednesdays of the month from 6-7:30pm.If the workshop times don't work for your schedule, please let us know.
