It's almost Pride Month! Whether you're at the start of your journey to become an LGBTQIA+ ally or would just like to brush up on your terminology, we invite you to join us for this FREE community training!Join us for SOGIE 101 on Tuesday, June 8 from 6-8PM on Zoom. SOGIE stands for Sexual Orientation and Gender Identity/Expression and can sometimes be interpreted as LGBTQ+ 101. We are excited to be co-hosting this training with our partners at Outlet of Adolescent Counseling Services.In this training we cover the basic terminology for sex, gender identity, gender expression, and sexual orientation through engaging videos, matching games, and polls. We also touch on extended topics like gender-neutral language, pronouns, and cultural humility.
