Keeping the Season Gay

Lets put the jolly back in the HoliGays! If you want to support a local LGBTQ+ business, make friends, and have some fun, join us for Keeping the Season Gay! This is the first of a series of community gatherings at locally owned or friendly LGBTQ+ businesses in San Mateo County. This month, we will meet at the Yard in Redwood City.

As the holiday season is getting started, come celebrate with us. We will have some games and snacks to share and there will be beverages and sushi available to purchase. Yes, sushi!

Description of the Yard – Your Third Place

NOW OPEN in downtown Redwood City!

A relaxed place to come hang out with the Redwood City community.

We sell coffee, tea, and some non-alcoholic beverages.

With seating outside in our courtyard, inside The Offerman House, or the glorious sunroom.

The Offerman House is historically known as the oldest house in Redwood City.

We roast our own coffee beans on an environmentally friendly Bellwether Coffee Roaster.

Accessibility information about The Yard:

The address for The Yard is 1018 Main St, Redwood City, CA 94063

Masks are not required at the facility, but SMCPC staff will have some on hand if you would prefer to wear one.

There is a small parking lot with a few spaces, and street parking nearby.

The courtyard is ADA wheel-chair accessible, but unfortunately at this time the inside of the Offerman House is not.

The Yard has two gender neutral restrooms, one located down in the Courtyard and one in the Offerman House. The restroom in the courtyard has a railing.
