This workshop is currently on hold from its current monthly format.\n \nJoin us for our monthly Name and Gender Change Workshop! \nWe will guide you through each step and help you prepare the necessary paperwork to legally change your name and gender markers. Please note that we are not attorneys; however\, we do consult with legal experts as needed. This is a completely FREE workshop in English and all appointments are currently over Zoom. If you are unable to use Zoom or have other language and/or accessibility needs\, let us know. \nWorkshops are separated into two parts\, on different days.\n\nPart 1: We’ll provide an overview of the process and cover the important first step of filing for your court order. In this session we’ll answer your questions\, prepare your court paperwork together\, and walk you through how to file.\n\nPart 2: In this second session\, we’ll review steps to take after receiving your approved court order; how to update your name/gender markers on your IDs\, Birth Certificates\, Social Security\, Passports\, and more. \n*If the times above don’t work for your schedule\, please let us know. Activities include a hike\, a park museum\, crafts\, and snacks.  Join the San Mateo County Parks\, San Mateo County Parks Foundation\, Friends of Huddart & Wunderlich Parks\, CORA\, and San Mateo County Pride Center as we learn about the beauty of the nature around us. We encourage all attendees to bring a water bottle\, wear a hat\, closed-toed shoes that can get muddy\, and extra clothing layers for the breeze. The park offers a network of trails for hiking and horseback riding and serves as an important open space preserved for the community. This area was donated to the County by Martin & Murielle Wunderlich. It contains what was once the Folger family ranch\, and the estate stable and surrounding buildings have been restored to provide a historic site. The original Carriage Room within the main stable has been transformed into a magnificent museum that showcases our local history\, including the lumbering\, farming\, and great estate eras.  \nTrail: The hike is 1.7 miles long and follows an easy trail with minimal slope.
