    *As of July 2025 UPDATE: If you need legal name and gender change support please email info@sanmateopride.org. This workshop is currently on hold from its current monthly format.

    This is a FREE, virtual workshop where we will guide you through each step and help you prepare the necessary paperwork to legally change your name and gender markers.

  • LGBTQ+ Parent Group

    A free peer support group for folks who are LGBTQ+ identified and parents of kid(s) 0-17 years old.  Parents are encouraged to join us to receive support, share parenting wisdom, build community and more.  All ways of being or becoming a parent are welcome! 

    This group meets once a month on the 3rd Wednesday from 7:30-8:30 PM PST.*

  • Trans Talks: DIY HRT: Medical Autonomy & Harm Reduction

    In this talk, our medical student will discuss historical and current barriers to gender-affirming hormone therapy (GAHT) that have contributed to DIY HRT as a practice; medical benefits and risks associated with DIY HRT; and strategies for DIY HRT harm reduction, including how to communicate about DIY HRT with clinicians.

  • Queer Women’s Group (18+)

    A free, drop-in, peer-led virtual social group for LGBTQ+ Women 18+. Come make friends and build connections with people in San Mateo County and beyond! This group is welcoming off all people who identify as Queer Women regardless of specific labels or other identities. This social group meets on the fourth Friday of every month from 6:00pm until 7:30pm on Zoom.
